  • Securing the Spanning Tree Protocol (PortFast, BPDU Guard)
  • Configuration of Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Cisco IOS firewalls
  • NAT technologies: Static NAT, Dynamic NAT, and PAT
  • Higher-layer security solutions (ESA, WSA, AAA)
  • Analyzing network traffic using Wireshark
